November 22

Both Theta Chi and Clemson have been doing a great job on the football field! Theta Chi is undefeated this season and is #1 in power rankings for our division. Thus far, the defense has not allowed more than one touchdown! In our last game, we had 4 different players throw touchdowns or extra points. It was exciting.

Here is team photo of most of the members of the team. A couple could not make it to the game, but they'll be in other photo's soon.

<DIV>Jake is ready to make a tackle. This is probally the best action shot that I was able to get.

Here's a few players of the offense. I wasn't able to get any action photos of them, since I'm on the offense. They don't allow cameras on the field. Haha.

This is the Clemson band. Ben Boone is actually in the band. This is the closest I could get, so you can't really see him, but he's there! </DIV> V>
Clemson football is going really well now. As I'm sure everyone's seen on national news, we're in the ACC Championship Game! There is definitely a buzz around campus as a lot of people are excited for Tampa Bay! I think a few of the Eta Alpha guys might be going.

Besides football, Eta Alpha is working on our petition for Re-Installation. Our goal is to complete it and submit it before leaving for winter break. We should be getting everything squared away. Currently, membership is at 45 men and we all are excited for IFC rush and informal recruitment in the spring!

If any alumni have any questions or would like to offer any assistance, please let me know. You can email me at Lepper@Clemson.edu

Homecoming came quickly. Thanks for all the alumni that were able to make it. For those that couldn't make it to the tailgate, it was a good time. There was food and beverages for all to enjoy. The rain came down and really made everything wet. Thankfully, just about everyone was able to cram underneath the tent.

Clemson destroyed Coastal Carolina and that caused the tailgate to end rather quickly after the game. The guys had a good time later that night for Halloween.

In other news, this summer two undergraduates Chris Marler and James Rubel went to the Chapter Leadership Conference in Philadelphia to represent the members of Eta Alpha. Here is a picture of Chris, James and I with the National President Doug Allen.

Chris and James really got a lot out of the conference. It was a good time where they each learned a lot more about the fraternity. I also learned plenty to help Eta Alpha become a Chapter again.

In other news, flag football was postponed tonight. Due to the rain on Saturday, the tailgaters tore up the intramural fields, when they left Clemson.
